Bloodlines How to Reroll Your Bloodline
The free grind route and the paid Robux shortcut, compared.
Rolled a clan you do not like? In Bloodlines you can reroll your bloodline, but the process is more involved than a simple button press. There are two paths — a free method built around aging and Chakra Point breaks, and a paid method using Robux at character creation. This guide explains both, plus how to decide whether a reroll is actually worth your time.
Should you reroll at all?
Before anything, be honest about your clan. Many “common” bloodlines are excellent: Senju and Lee sit in A-tier on the clan tier list despite roll chances above 20%. If you have not learned your clan’s kit yet, play it to Jonin first. A skilled player on a common clan beats a careless one on Otsutsuki. Only reroll if you are certain another bloodline fits your playstyle better.
Free reroll method (Chakra Fruit route)
The free method requires a specific sequence, and skipping a step means wiping will not change your clan:
- Obtain and consume a Chakra Fruit to become Otsutsuki.
- Destroy 5 Chakra Points total — Otsutsuki is the only clan that can break the fifth point, which is why the fruit is required.
- Reach Age 33 or higher on that character.
- Wipe your character through the menu.
- Create a new slot and receive a fresh random bloodline.
This route is entirely free but time-consuming, since aging to 33 and finding Chakra Fruit takes real playtime. It is the recommended method if you do not want to spend Robux. For how Chakra Points and shards work, see how to unlock jutsu.
Paid reroll method (Robux)
At character creation you can pay 200 Robux to reroll your bloodline instantly. Alternatively, the Edo Tensei bloodline is purchasable for 250 Robux from the Arkoromo NPC and may be better value if you were going to spend money anyway, since it comes with resurrection-style benefits. The paid route skips the entire grind but obviously costs real currency.
What a reroll does and does not change
- Unlocked jutsu remain available, but you lose the passive bonuses of your previous clan. For example, rerolling off Ayrui keeps your lightning jutsu usable but removes the Purple Lightning damage buffs.
- Rerolling does not refund Chakra Shards or reset your rank progress.
- Because rerolling requires wiping (free method), you restart your slot’s progression — plan around your aging timer.
After you reroll
Once you land a clan you like, commit to its element tree and follow the how to level up fast guide to rebuild your ranks. Manage your limited lives with the Life Force, Sin & aging guide, and confirm your new clan’s strength on the best clans for beginners page. For full clan mechanics and progression NPCs, browse the clans database. Paid rerolls are instant but cost real currency, so weigh that against the free Chakra Fruit grind before spending Robux.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions Bloodlines players ask most.
How do I reroll my bloodline for free?
Consume a Chakra Fruit to become Otsutsuki, destroy 5 Chakra Points, reach Age 33 or higher, then wipe your character. Skipping a step means your clan will not change.
How much does a paid reroll cost?
200 Robux at character creation. Edo Tensei is separately purchasable for 250 Robux from the Arkoromo NPC and includes resurrection-style benefits.
Do I keep my jutsu after rerolling?
Yes, unlocked jutsu stay usable, but you lose your old clan's passive bonuses. A rerolled character loses element-specific buffs tied to the previous bloodline.
Is rerolling worth it?
Only if you dislike your clan. Common clans like Senju and Lee are A-tier, so learn your kit before spending hours on the free reroll grind.
